What is coming up at the Town Hall

Everything on one list, in date order: Town Board meetings, elections, tax and license deadlines, Town Hall bookings, and Sanitary District No. 2 meetings. Each line is labeled so you can see whose date it is.

This calendar is for convenience only. It is not legal notice of any meeting. The Clerk gives notice by posting it at:

If a date here ever differs from the posted notice, the posted notice governs. Special meetings are noticed separately and may not appear here.

The Town Board meets the second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise posted. Dates further out are scheduled, not yet noticed. Past dates drop off the list; for agendas and minutes from earlier meetings, see Meetings.

About the sanitary district lines. Northfield Sanitary District No. 1 and No. 2 are separate units of government. They are not departments of the Town and the Town Board does not run them. Their dates are here because the meetings are held at the Town Hall and the bills go to the same residents. District No. 1 does not currently hold regular meetings. See Sanitary Districts.

Booking the Town Hall

The Town Hall is available to rent for private events. The rental fee is $50.00. Public events held at the hall are listed in full above. Private rentals show only as "Reserved," so the date is visible to anyone looking to book without publishing anyone's business.

Check the list above for your date, then send a request. Sending a request does not reserve the hall. The Clerk reviews it and gets back to you to confirm.

Will alcohol be present?

Alcohol brought in and served at a private event, such as a reception or graduation party, is allowed. Alcohol may not be sold at the Town Hall, including under a picnic license. The only exception is a fundraising event held by the Town itself. The Town Board set this rule on September 14, 2026. If money will change hands in any way where alcohol is served, talk to the Clerk before you book.
